Early Childhood Interest Inventory
Use this interest inventory template to learn about each student at the beginning of the year or when a new student joins your class. Knowing what your students care about outside of school is one of the most powerful ways to build genuine connection.
How to Use
- Send home with families during the first week, or complete together during a one-on-one conversation
- Use responses to inform center choices, book selections, and conversation starters
- Revisit mid-year to see how interests have grown or changed
